Classics at Prescott
May 14, 2023 @ 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
£20- As in previous years the 2022 event is open to all vehicles over 25 years old, albeit exceptions may be made at the discretion of the organisers for particularly interesting younger cars.
- In addition to running the hill as part of the main event on Sunday we invite Classic Car enthusiasts to display their vehicles in the Orchard.
- This is not only open to individuals but also groups and Car Clubs. Block bookings by clubs are particularly welcome and we always endeavour to park such groups together.
- The Upper Orchard area of the Bugatti Owners’ Club is devoted to a static display of classic, vintage and special vehicles. For those who wish to partake we will be repeating our forever popular gentle cavalcade up the hill so that vehicles can be displayed in motion to the attending public – this may be fully booked already.
- A donation of £20 per car covers entry for the vehicle, driver, all passengers, a souvenir programme and entry to the cavalcade which will drive up the hill after the lunch break
- This event is organised by Winchcombe Rotary, so please visit Classics at Prescott | Winchcomberotary (winchcomberotaryclub.com)
About Classics at Prescott
The annual Classics at Prescott event run by Winchcombe Rotary Club returns to its traditional May slot having moved to September last year due to the pandemic. This will be the 20th year that Classics at Prescott has been on the Rotary calendar raising funds for charities and needy cause. Over the years funds raised exceed £300,000 and have been donated to a wide range of charities both at home and overseas.
Location: Prescott hill climb Gotherington, Cheltenham
Area: Gloucestershire
Region: South West
Postcode: GL52 9RD
Organiser Information:
Prescott is owned and run by the Bugatti Owners Club (BOC) who purchased the estate in 1937 and commenced converting the muddy, rutted drive into a speed hill climb ready for the opening rally in April 1938, when the current Club President, Earl Howe, opened proceedings by driving his type 57 Bugatti up the Hill. Now, as we approach our 80th birthday, it is not necessary to own a Bugatti to become a member and we welcome the interest of all car enthusiasts. Currently we have a membership of circa 1,750, including over 500 members from overseas.
